Palins Holiday Park Scraps Age Limit for Static Caravans

No age limit on static caravans at Palins Holiday Park in Towyn North Wales

Exciting News for Caravan Owners and Buyers: No More Age Limit at Palins Holiday Park

Palins Holiday Park is thrilled to announce a major change to our ownership policy for static caravan owners and buyers: we have officially removed the 25-year age limit for caravans on our park, effective immediately.

We recognise the evolving quality and standards of modern holiday homes, and this new policy allows more families and individuals to enjoy the benefits of owning a static caravan at Palins Holiday Park. Whether you’re looking to buy a caravan holiday home or already own one, this is the perfect time to experience the freedom and community of caravan ownership with us.

What Has Changed?

🔹No More 25-Year Limit: Previously, static caravans could only remain on the park for up to 25 years. Now, there is no age limit for static caravans.

🔹Yearly Inspections After 25 Years: Once a static caravan reaches 25 years of age, owners can continue to keep their caravan on site by passing an annual inspection. The inspection costs £99 (including VAT) and covers key areas such as the floor, exterior, and undercarriage.

🔹Repairs and Standards: If any issues are identified during the inspection, owners will be notified and given a timeframe to carry out repairs. If a caravan is deemed beyond repair or not up to park standards, owners will receive a six-month notice to upgrade or remove the unit.

What This Means for Current Owners

🔹Keep Your Caravan for Longer: You no longer need to worry about an arbitrary age limit forcing you to upgrade or remove your static caravan. As long as your unit is well-maintained and passes the annual inspection, it can stay on the park.

🔹Flexibility and Peace of Mind: This new policy offers greater flexibility and ensures that you can continue enjoying your holiday home for as long as you wish, provided it remains in good condition.

What This Means for New Owners and Buyers

🔹Expanded Choice: Prospective buyers can now consider a wider range of caravans, including those over 15 years old, which can now be sold and purchased on site as there is now no age limit for static caravans.

🔹Long-Term Value: Your investment in a holiday home at Palins is now more secure, with the potential for many more years of enjoyment without the pressure of a fixed age limit.

Why the Change?

Caravans from the 1990s and early 2000s are quite different from today’s modern static caravan holiday homes. Over the past two decades, modern caravan holiday homes have been built to higher standards, with many still in excellent condition.

At our park, we believe that the quality and upkeep of your static caravan are far more important than its age. That’s why we’ve introduced an inspection-based system to maintain a safe and attractive environment for everyone.

This approach also gives caravan owners more flexibility and peace of mind. Whether you own a new or older static caravan, our priority is ensuring a safe, well-maintained space for all.

Join Our Community

At Palins Holiday Park, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere for all our caravan owners. Whether you’re a long-time owner or thinking about owning a holiday caravan, we want you to feel at home for as long as possible and to enjoy our vibrant, relaxing environment where you can truly feel at home.

Exciting Redevelopment of the Magpie and Stump at Palins Holiday Park

Redevelopment at Magpie and Stump - Palins Holiday Park North Wales

Palins Holiday Park is thrilled to announce a significant redevelopment project at the Magpie and Stump Pub in Towyn North Wales, a top destination for holidaymakers and locals alike. This well-loved venue is a firm favourite among both holidaymakers and the local community, known for its affordable drinks, delicious food, and lively atmosphere. Responding to increasing popularity, the pub is undergoing an exciting transformation, ensuring even more entertainment and enjoyment for its visitors.

The Vision Behind the Redevelopment at The Magpie and Stump

Louis, the park owner at Palins, explains the motivation behind the redevelopment of the Magpie and Stump. “The pub is so popular and busy that we felt we needed more space,” he shares. “At the moment, we just can’t accommodate all the guests who want to enjoy the pub’s atmosphere.”

To address this challenge, Palins is adding a brand-new cabaret bar extension to the back of the Magpie and Stump. This exciting addition includes a stage and a dance floor—essential features for enhancing the entertainment offered throughout the year.

“We already have entertainment regularly, but people love to dance, and currently, we don’t have a dance floor,” Louis explains. “With the new space, we’ll also have better seating arrangements so everyone can relax and enjoy themselves.”

What’s New with the Magpie and Stump?

The new cabaret bar and extension promise to elevate the Magpie and Stump experience with several significant improvements:

🔹A Dedicated Cabaret Bar: The spacious extension includes a purpose-built bar that expands the venue’s capacity.

🔹Stage and Dance Floor: The stage will host live performances, while the dance floor invites guests to make cherished memories.

🔹Enhanced Seating: More space means more room to accommodate families and groups comfortably.

🔹More Entertainment: Plans include evening shows, singing performances, kids’ dances, bingo nights, and even potential daytime events during weekends or quieter periods.

Louis is particularly excited about the expansion of entertainment options. “With the new space, we can offer much more—singers, kids’ dances, bingo, you name it. It’s all about giving our guests even more reasons to smile.”

New Dining Experiences

The redevelopment at Magpie and Stump also coincides with changes in the kitchen. Under brand-new management, the Magpie and Stump will introduce improved dining options and additional seating for food service.

“With our new kitchen team, we’re aiming to offer even better food and create more seating for guests to enjoy their meals,” Louis adds. “It’s all about delivering an even better experience at the pub.”

A Community-Focused Upgrade

This redevelopment is not just about creating extra space—it’s about bringing the community together. The Magpie and Stump has always been a hub for socialising, and the cabaret bar aims to enhance that sense of community. Whether it’s a family enjoying a holiday, locals coming together for a drink, or kids taking part in a dance night, this transformation promises something for everyone.

Timelines and Progress

The redevelopment team is working hard to have the project completed by the end of March, subject to weather conditions. “We have full faith in our team to deliver on time,” Louis comments.

To prepare for these exciting updates, the main venue Magpie and Stump will temporarily close at 5 PM on 16th February and reopen at 12 noon on 22nd February. During this time, we’ll be laying brand-new carpet, completing a deep clean, and refreshing the space with a fresh coat of paint.

This project reflects Palins Holiday Park’s commitment to improving guests’ experiences and ensuring memories are made within vibrant and welcoming spaces.

This redevelopment highlights Palins Holiday Park’s dedication to creating unforgettable getaways for guests by offering modern, welcoming spaces. Follow us for more updates as we work to make Palins Holiday Park better than ever!

A Thriving Future for the Magpie and Stump

With its redevelopment underway, the Magpie and Stump is poised to become the ultimate destination for entertainment, dining, and community at Palins Holiday Park. Louis and his team have put their hearts into this project, ensuring every detail adds to the pub’s friendly and lively atmosphere.

“We’re doing this to give our guests even more fun and enjoyment,” Louis says. “The Magpie and Stump is such a special part of this park, and this redevelopment will make it even better.”

Stay tuned for updates on this fantastic project. Whether you’re a holidaymaker or a local, Palins Holiday Park invites you to visit and experience the new and improved Magpie and Stump. Mark your calendar for its grand unveiling and more information about our kitchen takeover!
